Your Presents is Requested at these Children’s Shopping Spots

Even in today’s age of technology, it’s hard to pick out the “perfect” Christmas gift for children online. There’s really no substitute for going into a store and seeing the items in person. Luckily, there are lots of local businesses that will let you do just that. Make this Christmas special with something chosen from your heart, not something forgot about the instant after you put it in your online cart.

McCaulou’s

McCaulou’s has three locations in Sonoma and they carry SO MANY brands for kids. From Osh Kosh for the young’uns, to Disney and Billabong for the tweens. They don’t just have clothes though. McCaulou’s carries jewelry, toys, keepsakes, and more. A perfect stop to pick up Christmas gifts this year.

Hopscotch

Hopscotch in Santa Rosa is a specialty shoe store that has lots of great options. They cater specifically to infants through kids size 5. Located in Montgomery Village, Hopscotch has apparel, gifts, and over 30 different brands of shoes. What kid doesn’t like a cool new pair of shoes? Maybe they light up? Maybe they give them the power to run super-fast? So many possibilities.

Cupcake

For all the stylish trend setters you know, check out Cupcake. A cool boutique, they have apparel and accessories for children of all ages. They also carry toys, blankets, and books. It’s a one-stop shop for any Christmas gift ideas you have. They have locations in Santa Rosa and Healdsburg

The Toy Shop

For the children you know who just love to play, check out The Toy Shop in Sonoma. They carry many popular brands like Lego and Barbie, as well as costumes and boardgames – it’s not possible to leave empty-handed.

Copperfield’s

I know we’ve been here before, and I’m not stopping now. Books are incredible. A great gift that will give forever and ever. Copperfield’s has a great selection of children’s books and it will warm my heart to know that I’ve spread the word about reading. What can I say, I’m a bibliophile, and I want to see more bibliophiles in the world. I swear, they aren’t paying me.

Toys, Clothes, Shoes, and more. It may be hard to pick out gifts for children, but these great local shops make the job a little bit easier. This Christmas season, shop local, Sonoma, and enjoy the gift of giving.
