Restaurants
The wide variety of upscale restaurants really makes the Plaza a must for fine dining experiences. If you are a seafood lover, Willis Seafood and Raw Bar has delicious cocktails and eight different varieties of oysters served daily. If Italian is more your style, Campo Fina is a smaller yet amazing restaurant right in the middle of the square. Order the melt in your mouth burrata, (you won’t be disappointed). If you’re looking for a Spanish twist, Bravas Bar de Tapas has a quaint outdoor patio and serves some of the best tapas in town. Don’t forget to order a glass of Sangria too.
Shopping
This one is for all the shopaholics and art lovers out there. Scattered throughout the square are plenty of charming boutiques. Ooh La Luxe, a modern bohemian women’s store, was voted the best local boutique in Sonoma County several years in a row. Their Healdsburg shop was an old art studio, and the character of the building and quality clothes really stands out. Right across the street is Gathered, an eclectic boutique filled with vintage clothing and thoughtful gift items. If you want to bring home a souvenir to the kiddos, Mr. Moon’s has a wide variety of adorable stuffed animals and fun arts and crafts.
Wine & Beer
How could we talk about Healdsburg without talking about wine? Located right across the street from the central park of the plaza is Williamson Wines. This upscale wine bar offers free wine and cheese tastings (Yes, I said free!) no appointment necessary. If you are more of a beer lover, Bear Republic is widely known for their craft beers and big entrees, along with a great atmosphere.
