It’s back! Kick off the summer right at the Great Russian River Race on May 4th. Dust off your canoes, kayaks, and stand up paddle boards for this competitive river expedition. You can venture out on your own or buddy up as a team. Any way you do it, you’ll be sure to have a great time!
The Race
The race will start north of Healdsburg and run 5 miles down the Russian River. Anyone above the age of 5 is welcome to participate, so bring the whole family along. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert, the race is along the fairly easy class 1 part of the river. Make sure to buckle up your life vest for ultimate safety.
The Reward
End your journey with a celebration at the Healdsburg Memorial Beach. The beach party will be full of food, wine, and lots of friendly contestants. If you’re not the most athletically inclined, come in the most creative costume and you just might snag first place in the costume contest!
