Let’s all face it: The holidays this year aren’t going to look much like we’re used to. Lining up for hours so your kids can sit on Santa’s knee? No thanks. That said, as a parent to two littles, I’m definitely looking for ways to make the Holidays special – even if they aren’t quite the usual (and hey, nobody said that the Holidays need to be ordinary to be good)!
Here are some great local events for you to consider.
December 3, 2020
Sebastopol’s Holiday Celebration, Online, 6pm
December 4-6, 2020
Broadway Holiday Drive-In, SOMO Village, Rohnert Park, 6pm
December 11-13
Broadway Holiday Drive-In, Sonoma Raceway, Sonoma, 6pm
December 13, 2020
Santa Rosa Symphony Virtual Concert, Online, 3pm
December 18-19, 2020
Holiday Lights Celebration, Rohnert Park Community Center Complex, Rohnert Park – from 5pm to 8pm
December 18-23, 2020
Broadway Holiday Online, Online, Friday to Wednesday 8pm and Saturday to Wednesday 4:30pm
December 19, 2020
Occidental Community Choir, Online, 7pm
The 2020 Holidays won’t look exactly like we’re all used to – but they can still be great. Maybe you’ll find an event that you incorporate your own family traditions once things get back to sane. And on the bright side, parking for these – mostly online – events will be really convenient (I mean that you’ll be parked in your driveway). Happy Holidays, Sonoma.
