Halloween is just around the corner and we’re starting the festivities early at the Hallowine Run. Come in costume and participate in either the Half Marathon or Hallowine 10k. Take in the rolling hills of vineyards in their autumn glory as you race through beautiful Dry Creek Valley.
On Friday the 25th, come to the Race Expo at Hyatt Vineyard Creek in Santa Rosa from 12:00-6:00 pm. Pick up your packet and stick around to browse the vendors. There will be exhibitor booths, merchandise sales, food and wine sampling, and more. This event is free and open to the public.
The main event will be Saturday, October 26th. The Half Marathon will begin at 7:30 am at Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville.
The Hallowine 10k race will begin at Martorana Family Winery. The race will be divided into three starting times: 8:30 am, 8:35 am, and 8:40 am.
The top three male and female runners will each receive a magnum of wine. There are also best individual and team costume awards and awards for men’s and women’s Master champions (40+).
Afterwards, join the Post-Race Wine and Music Festival from 9:30 am-12:00 pm at Warm Springs Recreational Area. You will receive a commemorative wine glass to part take in wine tasting.
Later, you can celebrate your hard work at the Finisher’s Celebration. At a winery yet-to-be-announced, you can chat with the other runners as you enjoy hors d’oeuvres and sample the vineyard’s signature wines. The celebration will be from 3:00-5:00 pm and costs $45.
You can register as an individual or join as part of a team. Individual registration for the half marathon is $115.
