Nestled in the hills just north of Healdsburg lies a valley that produces arguably some of the best wines in Sonoma County. This gorgeous green oasis is home to some pretty amazing vineyards and wineries. Here are the ones you can’t miss.

Soda Rock Winery

This family owned and operated winery is sure to stand out with its unique architecture. Out front stands a giant steel boar statue named “Lord Snort.” Lord Snort also the name of their unique red blend that you can try upon visiting the tasting room. Every wine available at Soda Rock is rich and distinctive. Visiting their gorgeous winery and tasting room is truly an experience.

Alexander Valley Vineyards

The rustic and woodsy vibes of this tucked away vineyard really deliver a home-y feel. Their award-winning wines are available for tasting from 10am-5pm daily. The vineyard is family owned with historic homes on-site. You can even tour the underground wine cave and taste straight from the barrels.

White Oak Winery

This eclectic winery founded in 1981 is home to one of the best Chardonnays in the whole valley. The estate has 12 acres of vineyards. If you visit, you must taste their amazing wines with a picnic out on the estate grounds, preferably by the fountain. Have your next special event or party here!
