Moms Who Brunch

Mother’s Day is approaching fast! We sure are looking forward to this wonderful day when we celebrate the women who raised us. What better way to give back the love then taking your Mom out to a special brunch? Think fluffy pastries, lavender lattes, and some bubbly champagne. Make your mother feel like a queen for the day at one of these Sonoma County Brunch spots.

Sunflower Café

Moms will love the quaint atmosphere of this eclectic café located right in the square of downtown Sonoma. Reserve a table outside in their gorgeous sunflower garden to sit amongst the flowers as you eat. Dive into a buttermilk Belgian waffle paired with their specialty blackberry mimosa.

Bird and the Bottle

Head into Santa Rosa for some of the best food and booze in the area. Your mom will love Bird and the Bottle’s carefully crafted gourmet menu. Treat her to a peach Bellini and the crème brulée french toast. Afterwards, take her to the downtown plaza so she can shop until she drops.


This might be one of the cutest brunch, lunch and dinner spots in Sonoma County. Right in the heart of Occidental you will find Hazel – a wife and husband team serving up aw-mazing food. California, local and delicious food is all over their menu – make a reservation now, you won’t be disappointed!

The Girl and the Fig

In the heart of Sonoma, you ill find the Girl and the Fig – a quaint cafe serving delicious fresh local food with a French touch. Start with a cheese and charcuterie board or a fresh salad, finish with a hearty sandwich or a quiche Lorraine. They serve brunch Saturday and Sunday – reservations are highly recommended!
