These Lunch Spots Are Kind of a Big Dill

Sonoma County has a ton of great lunch spots to choose from (isn’t it nice to live somewhere that chain restaurants aren’t the only food around?). The next time you’re at a loss for lunch, take advantage of this by trying one of these four restaurants in Rohnert Park and Cotati.

Sonoma Valley Bagel

Breakfast, lunch, snack, or just classic bagel and shmear. The Sonoma Valley Bagel in Rohnert Park off Snyder and Southwest (the one across from Rancho Cotate only! We are NOT fans of some other SVB locations that will not be named) is well-loved for their selection of bagels and cream cheeses. Enjoy an Eggel from the menu or customize your own. We recommend the Sunrise Eggel (ham, egg, and cheddar cheese) on a sourdough bagel with cream cheese. So good you’ll be back again and again.

Down to Earth Café

With fresh-tasting ingredients and great portion sizes, Down to Earth Café in Cotati brings the flavors of Sonoma County to life. Try their fish and chips or the DTE all day breakfast sandwich and finish it off with a beignet. Oh, yes! Beignets all day, every day. Their food is made with ingredients from local farms and businesses whenever possible. The service, the food, the atmosphere – all amazing.

Tiny Thai

This restaurant off old Redwood Highway and Charles St. in Cotati may be small, but the flavor and deliciousness of the food is not. Tiny Thai’s flavors are rich and warm, great on a cold rainy day, and if you can get a seat inside, do it! We could go for the yellow curry tofu right now, with jasmine rice, of course, and egg rolls for days.

Wing Man

A go to Cotati favorite, Wing Man brings the heat and flavor in all their food. Take your friends out for lunch – beer, wings, and sports – their TVs are everywhere so you won’t miss a second of the game. They offer bone-in wings, boneless wings, and vegan wings (tempura cauliflower), so yes, even your vegetarian friends can come along. Try the smoky bones BBQ sauce, or the light me up buffalo sauce for a kick (but not a, you know, fatal one) and a side of fries. Yum!

Wings, curry, sandwiches, and more. Food is good, and great food is amazing. Lettuce enjoy all the great lunches that Sonoma has to offer.
