Have a Happy New Year in Sonoma County

New Year’s Eve falls on a Tuesday this year, so don’t drop the ball! Get out and celebrate another year around the sun at these events.

New Year’s Eve Gala Concert

Are you tired of doing the same old thing every New Year’s Eve? Well this year, why not start your new year off right with an experience you’ll never forget. The New Year’s Eve Gala Concert delivers high-quality classical music in Petaluma’s own “Carnegie Hall,” at the Petaluma Museum. Admission includes complimentary wine and cheese, so get your tickets early before they sell out.

Petaluma Elks Lodge No. 901

Looking for a more intimate event for celebrating New Year’s Eve? The Petaluma Elks Lodge is hosting a celebration with dinner, champagne, and entertainment. It starts at 6pm but tickets go fast, so get them early.

Charles M. Schulz Museum

Obviously, adults want to have their fun, but what about the kids? For an event that’s great for the whole family, check out Happy New Year, Charlie Brown at the Charles M. Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa. This event is not just fun but is also educational. From 10am to 4pm, Happy New Year, Charlie Brown offers crafts for kids and a “toast” with root beer to ring in the New Year. Then, when that’s done, take them home, put them to bed, and go out to your own celebration!

Whatever you choose to do this year, be safe and have fun. Happy New Year, Sonoma!
