Gift Guide to the Barlow – You can’t get this stuff on Amazon!

We love Sebastopol. The people are lovely, the town is walkable, and the shopping is great. Any excuse to visit, is our motto. The Barlow is one of the best parts of Sebastopol – crammed full of food and drink that you’re going to want to get on your table or under your tree for this Holiday Season. Here are some great ideas, but remember that there’s lots more to discover in this beautiful little Sonoma County town.

Crooked Goat Brewing Crooked Goat’s many great beers are available for pickup and shipping. We’re fans of their Crowlers (32oz cans). Some of our favorites are the Grain and Blood double IPA with blood orange and the Silver Lining, a vanilla stout.

Golden State Cider – Check out Golden State’s many wonderful ciders including their Gingergrass, an aromatic blend of ginger and lemongrass. For something special to help warm up over the holidays, try the Gravenstein Apple Brandy.

WM Cofield Cheesemakers – You can’t go wrong with any of delectable cheeses made by WM Cofield. Our go-to choices are always the Willie’s Fresh Cheese and the Stilton style Bodega Blue.

Two Dog Night Creamery – What better way to finish off your holiday dinner than with a pint of ice cream. Two Dog Night is currently featuring some decadent seasonal flavors such as the Caramelized Apple Pie and Pumpkin Spice.

Barge North Company – From men’s, women’s and kidswear to wall art and home goods, there is a gift in the Barge North Company for anyone on your shopping list. Their selection of essential oils pottery is wonderful.

JG Switzer – Does your home need a little something to spritz it up? Look no further than JG Switzer for all your home decorating needs. Their selections of luxurious pillows, blankets and sheets are second to none.

Keep your Christmas dollars working here at home, Sonoma, by shopping at one of the best little outdoor markets we’ve ever seen. Anyone can go to Target and pick up a generic gift, but only you can stroll the Barlow and come away laden with cheese curds and apple pie cider. A note: 2020 moves fast. You might want to double-check that things are open before you hop in the car.
