This year for Independence Day, we step a lot closer to normality (yay!). We have compiled a list of the best events happening around Sonoma County this fourth of July. Get your red, white and blue on and come out to celebrate.
Sonoma’s 4th of July Celebration, Sonoma
Sonoma’s 4th of July Celebration is held annually in the historic Plaza. There will be live music, a parade, food trucks, local crafts vendors and tons of activities for the little ones. Mimosas will start selling at 8am, the parade is scheduled for 10am and the live music at the plaza will be from 12:30pm to 5pm. Fireworks are scheduled for a bit after 8:30pm
Fourth of July Celebration, Petaluma
Petaluma’s 4th of July Celebration in an annual tradition that takes place each year at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds and Event Center. It features live music, food vendors and a beer garden, children’s activities, and massive fireworks display that can be seen across all of Petaluma. To avoid large crowds, the show has been designed to display higher in the sky to allow spectators to enjoy the show from their own neighborhoods.
4th of July Kids’ Parade and Duck Dash, Healdsburg
For kids young and old, the annual Kids’ Parade and Duck Dash will be held at the Healdsburg plaza from 10:00am to 1:00pm. There will be live music, activities and free lemonade, hotdogs and more! The parade begins at 11:30am.
Kenwood Fourth of July Parade, Kenwood
Family Fourth is the theme of the renewed Kenwood Hometown Fourth of July celebration this year, with all the usual events and excitement. Kids, bicycles, old cars, fire engines, and military salute to our flag as we sing the National Anthem. The parade will start at 10:30am in Plaza Park.
