As the heat of the summer is creeping in, our favorite warm-weather holiday is approaching fast. The Fourth of July is spent best surrounded by friends, family, and with an ice-cold beer in hand. Honor the 4th as the Founding Fathers would have done – by
grabbing your crew and hitting one of these Sonoma County hot spots!
Jaded Toad in Windsor
Locals call it The “Toad”. It makes for an ideal spot to get your drink on the whole holiday long with its all-outdoor seating and fun patio games. Their specialty beers and refreshing mixed drinks will quench your thirst all day.
HenHouse Brewing Company
Before you head up to the fairgrounds for the firework show, stop by Henhouse’s shady patio for a tasty brew and great atmosphere. If your feeling especially adventurous, try out their Oyster stout. They’ll usually have a local food trucked parked nearby for when the munchies hit.
Town Square Bar
If you want to be right near the excitement of the town of Sonoma’s parade but still escape the heat, then Town Square is your spot. The drinks are high in quality but reasonably low in price. The “locals bar” feel will make you feel right at home.
