Ever wanted more than Ice Cream? On a hot day, we all crave something sweet and cold but sometimes can’t decide if we want a slushy from 711 or ice cream from Cold Stone. If there are children involved and one doesn’t get what they want, there may be a meltdown in more than one sense. We all have tough decisions to make once in a while. The solution: why not both?

In Healdsburg, Amy’s Wicked Slush introduced a concoction of both slush and ice cream in one. Amy’s serves Italian ice with flavors from cotton candy to Margarita to sour apple, and many more. To top off the slush, you can pick from a huge selection of organic ice cream. They have the classics, like chocolate and vanilla, but also many more exotic flavors like watermelon. If you can’t decide on which flavor to try or don’t want to risk not liking a new taste, have a classic root beer float.
Amy’s also has an outside area where you can sit down and take in the scenery. If your children are of the four-legged variety, don’t worry: dogs are welcome, and there are water bowls and a bathroom area for them.
Even though they are closed on Mondays, on other days they serve until 9 pm. Get yourself a wicked slush during your trip. It is wickedly good.
