When the sun sets, bar crawlers all over Sonoma County love to visit the city of Santa Rosa for the great bar scene. If you love to drink whiskey in particular, this could be the area for you. Follow our guide to find the best old-fashioned you’ve ever tasted.
Whiskey Tip
This one is hard to beat. Located just outside of the main downtown strip, Whiskey Tip prides themselves on their wide selection of custom cocktails and tasting flights. Pair your drink with one of their “whiskey infused” BBQ options. The bartenders really know their stuff when it comes to all things whiskey.
Jack and Tony’s Restaurant and Whiskey Bar
Located right on Fourth Street is Jack and Tony’s. This rather small restaurant offers big flavors and a huge range of 400 whiskies. Their selections range anywhere from $6 to $100 a glass. Grab a buddy or a date and order the bourbon flight paired with one of their juicy gourmet steaks. What more could you need?
Jackson’s Bar and Oven
If you like to drink your whiskey somewhere more upscale with a great atmosphere, Jackson’s is the spot for you. Sit in the fancy upstairs loft and enjoy one of the many artisanal whiskey cocktails. Everything on the food menu is amazing but we highly recommend the Mushroom Pizza.
