This one’s for all our bookworms out there. There’s nothing we love more than the smell of fresh books and exploring aisles and aisles of new finds am I right? Fall/Winter is the perfect time to dive into that new novel while relaxing fireside in your reclining chair. Here are some of the best bookstores we’ve uncovered in the area.
Treehorn Books
Treehorn Books is located right next to the square on Fourth Street in Santa Rosa. This smaller bookstore has a cozy vibe with stacks and stacks of every genre you can think of. They’ll even buy back your old books for store credit.
Copperfield’s Books
Locally owned, Copperfield’s Books’ original shop is located right on Main Street in Sebastopol. Their friendly staff are more than eager to help you find the right book. This location even has a used selection with thousands of antiquarian and out-of-print books. Check out their website for hours and when they have their author led storytime.
Levin & Company
This family-owned bookstore in Healdsburg also has a large selection of CDs, vinyl records, and even a children’s room to entertain your little ones. They host fun book-signing parties with live music. If there’s a book you’ve been dying for and Levin doesn’t have it, they’ll order it for you on the spot. Talk about good customer service!
Napa Bookmine
The Napa Bookmine on Pearl St has a more modern touch with neatly-organized wraparound wooden bookshelves. They always have new and exciting finds on display. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, eager to help you fall in love with your next read.
