Apple-pealing Cideries to Visit

If you’re a cider aficionado, or looking to jump on the cider trend, these Sonoma County locations have what you need. Offering cider and wine, as well as non-alcoholic beverages and food, these locations are perfect for the whole group.

Ace Cider

America’s First Cider Pub is open Fridays 1-5PM. With 12 ciders on tap, Ace Cider has a host of flavors to pick from. Try a cider with a ginger and citrus zing. Or a cider with a taste of pumpkin pie, perfect for the fall season. Pick up a refreshing strawberry, raspberry, and blackberry cider.

Goat Rock Cider

These ciders are not for the faint of heart. A dry cider, like champagne, Goat Rock Cider uses only organic grown apples from Sebastopol. Check out a tasting event on Friday, October 11th at Bottle Barn in Santa Rosa, 12-2PM.

Dutton Estate WineryApple Cider

Tasting room hours at the Dutton Estate Winery are daily from 10AM to 5PM. They serve two of their very own ciders that are sweet and tart. They make their cider with their own organic apples and have 180 acres of Gravenstein, Golden and Red Delicious, Jonathan, McIntosh and Rome Beauty trees.

Horse and Plow

Horse and Plow, located in Sebastopol, is open every day from 11AM to 5PM. No appointment is necessary unless you’re with a big group. With lots of ciders on tap, and a new cider released every couple of weeks, H&P produces over 1,000 cases of cider a year.
