Thanksgiving Dinner

Worried about the Thanksgiving mayhem this holiday season? Whether you want to host your own dinner, or avoid cooking and cleanup, here are 3 great options in Sonoma County. Whichever you choose, make sure to order and reserve ahead of time.

Willie Bird Turkeys has been raising turkeys since 1963. If you want to make your own traditional Thanksgiving at home, they offer fresh and smoked turkeys. You can place an order for pick up or have it delivered. Whatever Thanksgiving you’re planning, Willie Bird’s can help.

The Depot Hotel Restaurant is great for those who don’t want the hassle of cooking and cleaning up. They’re offering a full four-course meal with several options and dessert on Thanksgiving Day. It will run from noon to 7PM, at a cost of $65 for adults and $25 for kids. It’s a great option to consider.

For those of us celebrating Thanksgiving alone, wanting to give back a little, or just hoping to save money, the Sonoma Community Center (Sonoma Veterans Memorial Hall, 126 First Street West, Sonoma) is offering a free Thanksgiving dinner. Produced by the Sonoma Community Center and Vintage House, this event will be held on Thanksgiving Day from 3PM to 5PM. This event is first come first serve, so get there early, and bring a dessert to share! If you’d like to volunteer or donate, there are lots of ways to get involved.
